Our Core Values Set Us Apart

Holistic Care

We believe in taking care of the whole person. In other words, it’s important that your loved one not only has medical care, but a lifestyle that encourages health and happiness. Every resident relationship begins with a comprehensive in-home evaluation by our Recreational Therapist. It’s important that we take into account your loved one’s interests, experiences, career, and medical history.

Transparency

Many memory care facilities charge you more once a resident requires a higher level of care. While our price is comparable to these facilities, our rate will not increase when your loved one's needs increase. We provide the same exceptional care to everyone, no matter the circumstance.

We strive to be transparent with our residents and their families, and that means no hidden fees or add on costs. Our price is all inclusive! It even includes the cost of incontinence products!

Comforts of Home

At Memory Lane, we believe that people with Dementia benefit most from being in a safe, intimate, engaging environment where they can enjoy the things that make life worth living. Every resident has their own private bedroom, and residents eat meals in the dining room with staff like a family. Most importantly, the house itself is a true family home where your loved one will feel like they belong.

More Staff per Resident

At many assisted living facilities you’ll find that there is very little oversight for your loved one. Oftentimes, the ratio of staff to residents is 1:10. During the night hours, this ratio can even go down to 1:24.

At Memory Lane, we have an around the clock staffing ratio of one staff member for every three residents during the day, and one for every six at night. That’s more than double the average! No matter the hour, your loved one’s needs will be responded to and cared for.

All Inclusive Pricing

Unlike other facilities, our price does not increase when a resident needs additional care. Our flat monthly rate includes everything from room and board to round-the-clock care, meals, special outings, and even toiletries.

Medicare and traditional health insurance cannot be used to cover the cost, as they don’t pay for long-term care, and Medicaid does not provide reimbursement for such a high level of care. However, we do accept long-term care insurance, and we are approved by all long-term care insurance plans.
